THE BODY /
THE STORY.
Mara Voss was a deep-field surveyor on the Night Side, mapping ice that had not seen light in four billion years. The job required patience, a steady hand and an absolute tolerance for being alone.
Her echo veil turns the arena into a moving map. She does not need to see you. She needs to know where you were, how fast you were moving and what you are about to do next.
The one-second return ping is not a flaw. It is the price of knowing everything.
Tactical ability
ECHO VEIL
A sonar pulse paints footprints, drone paths and heartbeat signatures through walls for six seconds. Every ping also reveals your position for one.
