The ring is awake
At 04:12 UTC, the Fold completed its first full inversion. The ring station did not explode. It did something worse: it folded through itself, stitching three sectors into one continuous corridor and opening a second extraction window where the command deck used to be.
The first crews inside describe the same thing. The map is familiar for about ninety seconds. Then a wall you cleared is a wall you have never seen, and the floor plan has a new opinion about where you should be standing.
Season 04 is not a content drop. It is a change in the rules of the room.
What changed
The Void now collapses in waves instead of a single closing ring. Each wave takes a sector, then leaves a narrow seam of stable ground behind it. The seam is the only route between the old map and the new one.
Extraction windows are shorter. The first window opens at 12 minutes, the second at 16, and the third never opens at all. If you are still inside when the third bell rings, the run is over.
The new relic, the Anchor, holds a sector open for forty seconds. It is heavy, loud, and the only reason anyone has survived long enough to file a report.
The map is not getting smaller. It is getting more honest.
Drop windows
Season 04 runs through January. The first ranked split is live now. The Circuit qualifier begins on 08 November, and the first public Blackout window opens every Friday at 18:00 UTC.
Bring a crew. The Fold does not accept solo applications.
